    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS - UG

The application procedure varies for undergraduate and postgraduate students, so we publish separate information for each. You'll also need to be able to provide evidence of a specified level of ability in the English language.

The following qualifications will be considered for direct entry to our undergraduate programmes:

Three A levels Between 30 and 36 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB). .

The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes. An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level). Typical offers (minimum overall average percentage) for applicants with Standard XII would be as follows: - 85% (comparable to AAB at A-Level) - 80% (comparable to ABB at A-Level) - 75% (comparable to BBB at A-Level) - 70% (comparable to BBC at A Level) Please note that a minimum grade of 75% or higher in key subjects will normally be required, where the Course Finder indicates subject-specific requirements.

To be considered for entry to Medicine or Dentistry, applicants should hold the Indian Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Grade XII with a minimum of 90% overall, including marks of at least 90% in Chemistry and Biology. If applicants have taken JEE Main or Advanced examinations, results may be considered in addition to Standard XII results. Good percentile scores in JEE subjects will be considered where performance in a key subject in Standard XII is below the stated minimum requirement. In order for JEE scores to be considered, applicants should have achieved the University’s normal Standard XII overall percentage requirement (as outlined above), with at least 60% in key subjects.

If you do not meet these requirements you may be eligible to apply for entry to the INTO Queen's International Foundation. These programmes are based on our campus and help you to prepare for study with us. Successful completion guarantees progression to Stage 1 of an undergraduate degree programme at Queen's (with the exception of Agricultural Technology, Medicine, Dentistry and Social Work).

English Language Requirements For admission to most Bachelor degree programmes (excluding Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy), the University will normally accept 70% in English Language in Standard XII in lieu of an IELTS Academic test, if awarded by one of the following Indian examination boards: All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination) awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE Indian School Certificate (Year 12) awarded by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Higher Secondary Certificate (Year 12) awarded by the following State Boards: Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS PG

The application procedure varies for undergraduate and postgraduate students, so we publish separate information for each. You'll also need to be able to provide evidence of a specified level of ability in the English language.

Entry to graduate diploma or taught masters programmes at Queen's University Belfast usually requires either a UK upper second-class (2:1) or a lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree.

For most courses, your major subject or content of your Bachelor degree may also be considered. Please check our for exact entry requirements. The comparable Indian qualifications are as follows:

UK Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) Successful completion of Bachelor degree with: First Division Pass and a minimum final average of 60% (in the traditional system), or CGPA 7.5 out of 10 on the 10 point scale; or 7.0 out of 10 if this equates to 'Good' in the institutional grading system, or 4.0 out of 6.0/B/Good in the 6-point system

UK Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2) Successful completion of Bachelor degree with: Second Division Pass and a minimum final average of 55% (in the traditional system), or CGPA 7.0 out of 10 on the 10 point scale; or 6.0 - 6.5 out of 10 if this equates to 'Above Average' in the institutional grading system, or 3.5 out of 6.0/C+/Average+ in the 6-point system

Please note that other important factors considered in the assessment of applications are performance in relevant modules at undergraduate level, and the number of attempts taken to achieve the final grade.

Where a CGPA system is used, the scoring system used by each institution will be taken into account and applications considered on an individual basis We take into account that at some of India's most prestigious higher education institutions it is rare to be awarded a First Class degree.

For this reason, it may be possible at the discretion of the Selector to consider candidates from top institutions who have achieved a very good Second Class degree with a final average of 58% or above (where a UK 2:1 is required), or 53% (where a UK 2:2 is required). The MBA requires 3 - 5 years work experience.

    English Language Requirements

For admission to most postgraduate degree programmes, the University will normally accept 70% in English Language in Standard XII in lieu of an IELTS Academic test, if awarded by one of the following Indian examination boards: All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination) awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE Indian School Certificate (Year 12) awarded by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Higher Secondary Certificate (Year 12) awarded by the following State Boards: Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

    ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Unless exempt (see above) applicants will normally need to demonstrate a level of English equivalent to 6.5 IELTS or 90 TOEFL IBT (Internet based test). However, some degree programmes have higher or lower requirements (please check individual courses for programme requirements). Duolingo is accepted

    EARLY PAYMENT FEE REDUCTION

For September 22 intake the University offered a £1500 fee reduction if the students pay the full fee before 30th June 22.  The same may be offered for future intakes

  • Commission(%): 15% - 18.5%
  • Commission(Additional Information):

Commissionn is calculated on the gross tuition fee ie before the deduction of any scholarships, bursaries or early payments.

    VAT needs to be clarified.

UG students = 16.5% commission for all students with the exception of UG medicine and dentistry which is 5% commission.  There is a 10% progression commission for students progressing on from INTO Queen's.

    PGT students as follows 15% = 1 - 9 students 16.5% = 10 - 19 students 17.5% = 10 - 39 students 18.5% = 40 - 99 students

    PG Research = 10% commission

BONUS £1500 for every batch of 5 students i.e. £1500 for 5 or more students £3000 for 10 or more students £4,500 for 15 or more students £6,000 for 20 or more students and so on

IF WE EVER CROSS 100 OR MORE STUDENTS IN AN ACADEMIC YEAR THEN WE WILL BE ENTITLED TO A FURTHER BONUS.

Perhaps in years to come when we have counsellors all around the world this might possibly happen. All bonuses will be shared amongst the counsellors who have sent students to the University and this will be proportionate. For example the bonus is £300 per student based on a minimum of 5. So if we send 5 students C2C will receive a £1500 bonus. If one counsellor has sent 2 out of the 5 then they will receive 2 x £300 = £600 at 75% share (or whatever share the commission split is at for that counsellor).
