SCHOLARSHIP .
We have some basic changes that we would like you to be aware of before we start with the Sept 2023 application process.
- There are no direct scholarships. (Students can apply for the VC scholarship once they have an offer)
- The GBP 500 full fee discount is discontinued.
- The Minimum deposit now will be GBP 5000.
- The application process is now simplified into 3 steps starting with Conditional Offer, followed by the UF once the students have paid the deposit and fulfilled all the conditions and clearing the Credibility Interview followed by the CAS. We will no longer be issuing Academic Unconditional Offers .After which submission of maintenance documents will be needed for issuance of CAS.
- Please refer to the website for the changes in Tuition Fee.
- Please send us a list of applicants who wish to be deferred from the Jan 2023 intake and we shall look the same.
- We will not be able to accept change of course requests so we advise all of you to speak to the students and help them choose wisely.
With the high number of applications received by us, we realised that most of the process was delayed due to applications being both incomplete and incorrect. We also received a lot of last minute payments ,even after the deadlines.
In order to streamline the process and make sure we have no delays we need the applications to be complete and kindly to follow a standard format.
- Additional Info:
CONTRACT ADVISES THAT THE TERRITORY WE CAN RECRUIT STUDENTS FROM IS "GLOBAL". NO APPLICATIONS FROM PUNJAB
This is probably the cheapest C2C client in terms of tuition fees.

VAS APPLICATION PORTAL LINK
Login: applications@connect2counsellors.com
Password: C2cluke@97INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE VAS APPLICATION PORTAL
On the portal we would require you to complete the details of the students as per their records. Certain details have to be double checked because the same later appear on the CAS.- Kindly make sure that the email id and mobile number of the student are correct and not that of the agent. This registered email ID and Mobile number are constantly needed by the team to get in touch with the student and to add them to the WhatsApp groups, for important mails and updates related to the University.
- All fields marked with a Red * are Mandatory and cannot be left blank. If in case the student does not have those please make sure you add a (.) or (–) since the form will not move ahead without these details.
e.g – If the student’s passport has only the forename and not the family name, you can put a (.) or (-) in that box - The Date of Birth is one of the most important detail and we request you to please double check the same with students passport.
- The Passport number has to be accurately filled up as this will reflect in the students CAS.
- For the options of the highest level of Qualification that you currently hold- For all the student who have completed their previous education overseas the option to be selected from the dropdown menu is “Other Non-UK qualification”.
- The student’s past immigration History is very important, in cases where students have travelled to other countries for Education, a full detail has to be given as it is an important for the Compliance team to know.
- The previous education details have to be completed from most recent to oldest. Please do make sure that all the details are filled as per the records. The Result/Grade is very important and we request everyone to calculate the percentage and fill up the same, since the international admissions get result from various boards it is quite time consuming to find out the grade percentage.(The entry criteria is clearly mentioned above, so please refrain from putting up applications that are not eligible)
- IELTS- If the student has IELTS as per the requirement please do mention the same on the portal. If you are attaching the IELTS scorecard the same has to reflect on Portal
- The complete Reference number has to be correctly filled up since we need to verify the same. We cannot consider non-verifiable results.
- If the student is going for any courses which require a portfolio, please make sure that the link of the portfolio is either mentioned or a PDF version of the portfolio is attached in the documents.
- Please make sure that all documents are attached separately as per the list in PDF formats preferably. Name all PDFs correctly with the name of your student and then document name eg First name Second name - CV. Do not attach a combined PDF as the admissions team is required to upload each document separately
The only pending documents that we can wait for are letters of recommendation, final marksheets IELTS / PTE / final results and degree.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Agents upload applications on the VAS portal.
- The relevant Admissions Team checks the same to upload it on to the E-Vision.
- The students will be then issued a Conditional Offer. Each Offer letter has a different date for the student to accept the offer and also pay the deposit. These dates have to be followed and incase the student fails to accept the offer/pay the deposit the offer will be withdrawn. Please make sure you get in touch with the SA team to get this extended.
- The students need to book an appointment for the TELT using their student portal (Please encourage the student to do this at the earliest since at later stages we run full dates and potential students may lose an opportunity)
5.Once the student fulfils the academic conditions the student can go ahead and pay the initial deposit.( We will no longer be issuing an academically unconditional Offer.)
6. At this stage the student needs to complete the Credibility Interview.
7.Once the Initial deposit is received by the university, and the student has fulfilled all the other conditions an Unconditional offer our Pre- CAS will be issued. Once the student and agent confirm that all details are correct the maintenance documents can be submitted on the student portal as per guidelines and the CAS shall be issued.

QUALIFICATION VERIFICATION FOR TEESSIDE FROM INDIAN STUDENTS
Message from the University 12 October 2022, although it talks about verification of Indian qualifications all Counsellors should be aware that verification may be required for all overseas applicants.
We are aware that a lot of students and agents are constantly facing issues with the Qualification Checks. Below is the standard method of Qualifications Checks along with an alternative method to the same.
Please circulate the same amongst your students so that they are not stuck at any point.
Qualification Verification
Academic Qualifications from all overseas applicants need to be verified prior to being accepted for entry to Teesside University for the January 2023 in-take onwards. While the University’s Qualification Check portal is available to all applicants to complete this step, a range of other verification methods can be accepted to meet this offer condition.
Verification methods that will be accepted are as follows:
Qualification Check
All applicants can pay to complete a Qual Check by going via: https://tees.ac.uk/international/qualificationcheck
TU applicants must use this portal for us to view the outcome of their qualification check. Instructions of how to complete a qualification check are detailed here:
There is a small cost (usually £25) to the applicant to complete this qualification check. Once the verification is complete the candidate will automatically receive an ImVerified wallet which digitally stores their qualification verifications and can be shared with all future employers or any other Universities they apply to.
For UG Applicant
Where Indian XIIs are being used to meet the academic entry requirement they should be verified directly with the State Board’s verification system if available.
Regularly accepted State Boards verification systems that will be used include:
- Andhra Pradesh Intermediate: https://bie.ap.gov.in/duplicatecertificate.do
- Telengana Intermediate: http://tsbie.cgg.gov.in/studentServices..do
- Gujarat Technological University: https://www.students.gtu.ac.in
CBSE Indian XII can be verified by entering roll number, Date of Birth, school code of candidate on following websites:
- http://cbseresults.nic.in (for the current year)
- http://resultsarchives.nic.in/cbseresults (for old results 2004-onwards)
All Regions – Verification Direct at Source
Where the University operates an overseas Regional Office, the Regional Office can complete a primary source verification check for the applicant directly at source with the awarding institution. There are two accepted methods:
1) Online Primary Verification where available
Check portal at: https://teesside.qualificationcheck.com/#/login/register
- Upload a screenshot of the onscreen verification to applicant record prior to the qualification verification clearance check being passed. Screenshots must include the URL web address of the verification portal.
- Add a note confirming the url of the verification service used.
2) Written Confirmation received direct from the Primary Source
- Written confirmation that the qualification is genuine may be received by e-mail from the awarding institution.
- This e-mail must be either:
- from a verifiable institutional e-mail address clearly belong to the responsible team at that institution (e.g. studentrecords@tees.ac.uk or registry@tees.ac.uk); or,
- where received from an individual’s e-mail address that individual must be verifiable as a responsible officer of the awarding institution (e.g registrar / member of registry or student records staff [and not an individual lecturer that taught the student]).
A copy of the verification in writing must be uploaded to the applicant record in e-vision prior to the qualification verification clearance check being passed. Where verification is received from an individual’s e-mail address a screenshot of a corresponding webpage confirming the individual’s role at the awarding institution should also be uploaded to the applicant record.
INDIA MAINTENANCE DOCUMENTS TO BE EMAILED TO COMPLIANCE MANAGERS
In the recent times the University has come across a number of fake and forged documents for the CAS. To make sure that they can avoid any issues caused by this they request all of you to E-Mail the maintenance documents to their Compliance managers.
All students/agents from North India are requested to email the maintenance documents to Nandan Padavala at p.naidu@tees.ac.uk and all students/Agents from South India are requested to mail Iona Furtado at i.furtado@tees.ac.uk
Students/Agents can continue to upload the documents on the portal but the same have to be emailed to the South Asia Compliance Team
