Decisions from South Asian applications are made for most courses in the Hyderabad office and take 1 day to process. It must be noted on the online application if the student has visited the UK before. If they have then the Hyderabad office cannot make the decision on entry and it will be referred back to Edinburgh.
Full guidance on how to access the e-vision portal can be found in the Upload Document section below. Look for Edinburgh Napier Agent e-vision instructions
IMPORTANT UPDATE ON CAS PROCEDURE FOR SOUTH ASIAN STUDENTS. Message from the University 14 April 26
The credibility interview forms a critical part of the CAS issuance process. As you are aware, Edinburgh Napier University conducts credibility interviews via CAS Shield, where all interviews are recorded as part of university compliance requirements.
We have recently observed that some students are attempting the CAS Shield credibility interview without adequate preparation, resulting in unsuccessful outcomes. Additionally, with increased UKVI scrutiny and the introduction of the Agent Framework, it is increasingly important to ensure students are appropriately prepared prior to undertaking the final credibility interview.
To better support both students and our partners, we will be implementing the following process going forward:
Updated Procedure:
- Once the student has paid the deposit, please ensure that the TT copy is shared with us at apply.india@napier.ac.uk.
- Agents should conduct initial preparation and mock interview sessions with the student.
- The ENU India team will subsequently then connect with the student to conduct mock interviews.
-
Upon confirmation from the ENU India team, the CAS Shield link will be shared with the student.
- The student will then proceed with the final credibility interview in CAS shield.
How this will benefit students:
- Agent-led preparation and mock sessions will ensure students are familiar with basic interview questions and have sufficient time to prepare effectively.
- ENU India mock interviews will help students become more comfortable with the CAS Shield format and build confidence while interacting with the university.
- The ENU India team will further refine student responses and provide targeted feedback where necessary.
This enhanced process has been introduced to ensure students receive appropriate preparation and guidance, reduce the risk of unsuccessful credibility interviews, and align with current UKVI compliance expectations.
We are confident that this collaborative approach between partners and the ENU India team will improve student preparedness and support stronger CAS outcomes.
We appreciate your continued cooperation and support. Should you have any questions, please contact the ENU India Team.
