“During my applications for a postgraduate programme in 2015, I had sought the guidance and assistance of Mr Shyam Kumar in order to shortlist universities that would be a good match for me personally. Mr Shyam Kumar had impressed upon me the importance of choosing a well-funded university given the research nature of Cognitive Neuroscience, the programme of interest, as well as the importance of focusing on the members of staff involved in the relevant department at my universities of interest. I also received a good amount of guidance regarding the main components of my statement of purpose and how to make it more effective for the universities I chose to apply to. At the end of 2015, I applied to various universities. Mr Shyam Kumar helped me finally make a decision regarding which university to pick based on funding, research output and prospective employment opportunities following my graduation. I can happily say that the programme I chose to pursue was the correct one for me. The guidance I received from Mr Shyam Kumar was immensely beneficial and assisted me in making an important choice for my higher education.”

“Due to extenuating circumstances, I was unable to achieve the conditions for UK medical school. With much deliberation, I elected to take a gap-year, during which I consulted Mr Shyam Kumar for guidance on necessary steps to higher education. He advised me on additional courses to supplement my extracurricular and academic profile in order to develop my CV and university application, as well as work experience and shadowing opportunities to meet the requirements to study other medically aligned courses. Since acting on Mr Kumar’s recommendation, I am now an undergraduate student reading Biomedical Sciences at Aston University.”
