Scholarships

There is a huge range of scholarships available for international students to help them fund their studies.  A few scholarships will cover all your tuition fees and your living costs.  However these scholarships are very competitive and you will have to have high academic results to be considered.  Some of these fully funded scholarships will also require you to return to your home country for a period of time after you have completed your course as the scholarship is designed to not only benefit you but also your country.

Most universities will offer their own scholarships.  The majority of these scholarships will cover all or part of your tuition fees.  Each University will set their criteria for awarding scholarships.  Some scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit, others on nationality or whether you are classed as an international student for tuition fee purposes.

You need to do your research thoroughly if you are looking for a scholarship.  In particular you need to be make sure that you meet all the criteria before applying and importantly make sure that you apply before the deadline date.  Scholarships awarded based on nationality or fee status may or may not be given to every student as some universities may limit the number of scholarship awards in this category.  You may also have to have confirmed your acceptance on a course by paying a deposit before you will be awarded a nationality or international student scholarship.

Your C2C Counsellor will be able to guide you on what scholarships you can apply for based on your academic grades, nationality and course.  They will also advise on you deadline dates.  Please contact one of our Counsellors to seek their free advice.
