CREDIBILITY INTERVIEWS - message from Brunel University
We are aware that if an applicant is required to attend a UKVI credibility interview, it can be stressful for not only themselves but also their counsellor.
I am therefore sharing some helpful slides from our UKVI Compliance Manager, which provide information regarding the interview process.
It includes information as to what applicants can expect and the main reasons as to why students fail the interviews.
To avoid any mishaps, and for the GIR to survive, let's work together to only recruit credible students.
My colleagues in our compliance office are also happy to answer any questions relating to visas/immigration and credibility:
With our very best wishes,
Simon, Priyanka & Fiona
MBBS (UG Medicine) - September 24 entry
Please note that there are a couple of important changes for September 2024-25 entry:
1) Medicine entrance exams
As well as UCAT, graduates also have the option to sit the Graduate Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT). As with UCAT, GAMSAT should be taken the year prior to entry. GAMSAT is a 4-hour and 45-minute test that includes 19 minutes of reading time. It has 3 sections varying in length.
Please visit the GAMSAT web page for more information.
2) Medicine MBBS tuition fee (2024-25)
£49,395 per annum.
If you have any questions relating to the above changes, please email our Medicine Admissions team bms-admissions@brunel.ac.uk.
Medicine Agent web page
Please visit our Medicine web page for agents to access presentation slides, entry criteria and the application form. - Commission(%): 15- 20%
- Commission(Additional Information):
20% for UG students.
15% for PG students.
12% for undergraduate medicine.
10% for Pre-sessional course.
Commission is paid on the GROSS tuition fee so the calculation is made before the deduction of any scholarship or fee discounts.
Commission payable only when the student has fully enrolled and paid the first instalment of the fee.
When 2 agents are involved the University reserves the right to decide on the commission split between the two agents. C2C should provide the names of students introduced to the University by the first day of the second month following the students enrolment.
On receipt of a list of names of those students introduced the University shall advise C2C of the numbers enrolled. C2C will then invoice the University for commission due for payment after the date of 1 November or 1st February for January intake.
Payment will be made by the University within 60 days of the receipt of a valid invoice. Invoices for commission to be emailed to commission@brunel.ac.uk
